From painter to barber

I'm Quincy Rekers, and I've been a barber since 2018. Before that I was a painter.

How it started

From the ladder to the chair

I was a painter until an accident at work put an end to it. In 2018 I stopped, and I knew what I wanted: to be a barber, and one day to have my own place.

Started in a shed

Courses, hours of YouTube and watching other barbers on social media. I started in a shed, with little gear and a small network. That didn't stop me.

Now on Croeselaan

After six years in the trade I have my own place at Croeselaan 341. Classic or something new: we work out together what suits you.
